Whole Foods Weight Loss Haul: 19 Things I Actually Buy for Busy Family Life
Whole Foods and I have this thing. I go in for milk and leave with seventeen new products I’ve never tried. But honestly? Some of my best weight loss finds have come from wandering those aisles.
Here’s what actually made it into my cart this week — the good, the random, and the not high protein or anything just love these! stuff that keeps this whole journey sustainable.
The Pizza Situation
Let me start with these Pizza Cupcakes because they’re sitting right there in my freezer judging me. Margherita flavor from The Pizza Cupcake — Not high protein or anything just love these! Which pretty much sums up how I approach food these days.
Are they the most nutritious choice? Nope. Do they make me happy on a Tuesday night when I’m too tired to think? Absolutely. Sometimes that’s enough.
Breakfast That Actually Happens
Morning chaos is real in our house. These Applegate Frittata Bites have become my saving grace —Good quick breakfast! 2 bites for 4 points, 170 calories, 13g protein. I can grab them from the freezer, microwave for a minute, and actually eat breakfast instead of surviving on coffee fumes until noon.
Then there’s this MUSH protein bar in Maple Cinnamon. I loveeee these for a quick breakfast on the go! 270 calories, 15g protein. Way high in WW points but obviously that doesn’t matter to me on this current journey so sharing this anyway!
The Goodles Mac and Cheese Obsession
Can we talk about Goodles for a second? Goodles number 1 fan here. Their Cheddy Mac is basically regular mac and cheese that somehow has 14g protein and 6g fiber. You know goodles mac and cheese is alwatys coming home with me!
I like to add some cottage cheese after cooking to make it creamier and more protein. 7 points, 260 calories per serving, but it actually keeps me full instead of leaving me hunting through the pantry an hour later.
The Curveballs pasta is another winner. “This is one of my fav pastas. Tastes regular and has a ton of fiber and good amount of protein!” 4 points, 180 calories, 7g fiber, 10g protein per 2oz serving.
Sweet Tooth Solutions
Love this for jelly! This SMASH superfood fruit spread is 1 point for a tablespoon with great ingredients and no sugar added. Game changer for PB&J moments.
The Lily’s chocolate finds were new territory for me. Another sweet tooth fav! The crispy rice dark chocolate bar — 130 calories and 5 WW points for 1/3 package, plus gets you 9g fiber!!” The peanut butter cups are a great source of fiber when you want a sweet treat and 140 calories and 5g fiber for 6 WW points per package.
Protein Wins
My absolute fav frozen chicken tenders!! They’re gluten free but omg taste like restaurant quality. Bell & Evans chicken tenders — 190 calories, 5 points, 20g protein. These have saved so many weeknight dinners.
The Amylu chicken meatballs caught my attention too. Great option for frozen meatballs! 4 meatballs for 4 points, 150 calories, 14g protein. Perfect for throwing into pasta or eating with some marinara.
My fav deli turkey! Applegate Organics turkey breast — 0 points, 12g protein for 2 slices. This is what I reach for when I need quick protein that actually tastes good.
The Surprises
Power Provisions bone broth soup was intriguing. 20g of protein in soup? Yes please! 150 calories, 4 points per container. Sometimes the simplest things surprise you.
That WNG orange drink? ZERO WW points for a can!! I actually really enjoyed this. New find. It was refreshing and has 10g of protein for only 45 calories! Sometimes the random stuff works out.
And LoveBird protein cereal , a new to me cereal. Heard good things. 8 points for a cup, but 11g protein. Worth trying when you want cereal that won’t leave you starving in an hour with better for you ingredients.
The Zero-Point MVP
“Zero point marinara sauce!” 365 Organic Fat Free Marinara — 40 calories for 1/2 cup. This is the kind of find that makes meal planning so much easier.
High Fiber Bagels For The Win
Sola bagels continue to be clutch. Great option for a tonnnn of fiber! One bagel has pretty much your daily fiber goal and 14g protein and it doesn’t taste like cardboard. 110 calories, 3 WW points for the whole thing.
The Real Talk
Look, not everything in my cart is a protein powerhouse or zero-point miracle. My holy grail creamer! Only 10 calories per tbsp. This is the only flavor I like — NutPods Cookie Butter creamer, 4 tbsp for 1 WW point.
Sometimes you need the Pizza Cupcakes. Sometimes you need creamer that makes your coffee taste like cookie butter. The goal isn’t perfection — it’s finding a way to eat that you can actually stick with while still moving toward your goals.
That’s what these Whole Foods hauls are really about. Finding the sweet spot between foods that support where I’m going and foods that make the journey sustainable. Because what’s the point of losing weight if you’re miserable the entire time?
