Sweet and Spicy Cucumbers
Anyone else just always looking for something to snack on? Just me? Seriously though, I love to snack, and having zero point/high volume/lower calorie snacks as been crucial for me. A lot of the time I’m not even hungry, I just ” want something” .. so these cucumbers with tajin and sugar free chili sauce totally hit the spot! You can have SO many, and these are especially great to make a huge batch of if you’re having a summer BBQ to pick on while you’re hanging out. They’re a crowd favorite, Weight Watchers or not!
What you’ll need to make these sweet and spicy cucumbers
Only 3 ingredients needed here, and you will always see these in my house which makes it even easier to just whip up when I want them!
- Cucumber – since they are zero I typically dont measure, but figure about a cup. I like to use english cucumbers, but any work here! I also like mine peeled, but you can totally leave them as is.
- Tajin– this spice has become one of my absolute must haves! Give it a try on some watermelon too!
- G Huges Sweet Chili Sauce– This is the key to add a little fun and spice to these cucumbers! You can have 3 tablespoons for zero points! This goes great with chicken too. I find mine at Walmart, but most grocery stores have it!
How To Make These Cucumbers With Tajin And Sweet Chili Sauce
This couldn’t be easier and I would say doesn’t need much of an explanation, but for sake of the blog I will explain 🙂 . . I take my English cucumber, cut a good chunk off, and peel off some of the skin. You definitely don’t need to peel, but I have always preferred my cucumbers this way. Cut them into slices, add a tsp of Tajin sprinkled all over them, and then take the G Huges Sweet Chili sauce and add some to teach cucumber. I used a tbsp, but you can use up to 3 for zero points if you have a bigger batch!
I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
