French Toast "McGriddle"

This fake out McGriddle is low in point, extremely satisfying, and will have you craving it over and over! I love it for breakfast or even a fun "brinner"! (Who doesn't love breakfast for dinner?)

Ingredients

  • 2 slices Shcmidt 647 bread (or any low point bread of your choice)
  • 1 slice Velveeta Original slices (or any cheese you prefer)
  • 2 links Jones Dairy Farm Turkey sausages (cut in half)
  • 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp sugar free syrup
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tbsp oat milk

Instructions

  • In a shallow bowl, mix together an egg, an egg white, oat milk, cinnamon, vanillia, and 1/2 tbsp of the sugar free syrup. This is your batter for the french toast
  • heat a pan with non stick cooking spray
  • Dip the 2 slices of bread into the egg mixture and add to the heated pan
  • While that is cooking, microwave the 2 turkey sausages and cut in half once cooked (you can also heat these in a pan if preferred)
  • Fry up one egg with cooking spray for zero points
  • Now time to assemble the sandwich! Add one slice of french toast to a plate, add the cheese, the cut turkey sausage, the cooked egg, and the other slice of french toast on top. Cut in half and drizzle 1.5 tbsp of sugar free syrup (or you can use it as a dip for less mess!)
